Shelled Pistachio
Pistachio is a nut that belongs to the cashew family. It is a small tree that originated in Central Asia as well as the Middle East. Shelled Pistachio kernels have two different kinds: Regular Pistachio Kernel and Green Peeled Pistachio Kernel.
They have different colors, from yellow to shades of Pistachio green. Pistachio kernels have their own specific color and are available in both raw and roasted forms. But the raw type has more benefits.
Regular Pistachio Kernel
Regular Pistachio Kernel obtains from close shell Pistachios and open shell Pistachios. It’s color is purple and brown skin, green and yellow inside of the Pistachio.
Pistachio kernels are used to make a variety of beverages, including smoothies, chocolates and potions. You can make an energy potion with Pistachio kernels.

Green Peeled Pistachio Kernel
Green Peeled Kernel harvests as it is unripe and it’s shell and skin removed. To prepare this pistachio kernel, farmers use the best Pistachio kernels. They are not yet ripe. It’s color is dark green to light green and yellow.
It is often used in confectioneries and food factories, ice cream parlors and mainly for export to European countries; because green kernel is expensive one and goes to rich countries.
Nutritional value of pistachio kernels
Pistachios are rich in the minerals such as potassium, magnesium, Iron, calcium. They are useful for strengthening bones and teeth, zinc, which help the growth of cells and tissues in the body, copper, sodium and vitamins B, E, C, A, K, thiamine, Folate and choline.
