Kaluteh date, also known as Kaliteh date, is one of Iran’s dry or semi-dry date varieties.

This date is cultivated in the southern cities of Iran. The best type of Kaluteh date in Iran is grown in Jiroft city, located in Kerman province.

The Kaluteh date palm is one of the tallest palm trees.

These tall palms are found in Jiroft, Kerman.

Kaluteh dates have soft flesh that is easily chewed in the mouth. The ratio of flesh to core is about 90%.

This date starts off red and then turns brown and light black and looks very similar to Mazafati dates.
